Comments: A brilliant start to a great series. Death Note is about a gift teenager finding a notebook with the ability to kill anyone just by writing their name in it. It is a mystery thriller where the suspense builds up from the very first chapter. It becomes a battle between two gifted characters and seeing some of the more clever ways in which things were done was amazing. What’s even better is that the plot is never static, things happen for a reason. We are continuously finding out some new aspect of the Death Note and all characters are likeable. I can’t really find any flaws in this one…
