The original Hoodwinked was a great movie, by retelling the fairy tale Little Red Riding Hood in a police investigation manner. While it would have gotten complaints either way, if this sequel was done in the same police investigation manner, it would have been good. Instead, Hoodwinked Too! is an original story with a strong action spy theme. It's not as funny or as original and at times, it can feel very much a drag thanks to the abundant cliched jokes and scenes. It features many familiar fairy tale characters although it is most heavily influenced by Hansel and Gretel. The story lacks any sort of mystery and is too predictable to be enjoyable. You know what is going to happen two scenes before it actually does. A disappointing sequel with bland animation and a horrible storyline.
