Comments: An exciting and intense follow up to the first volume where the titans are overrunning the city and Eren was killed in the previous chapter. It was a bit annoying with Armin giving up and it taking a while for him to finally get his spirit back. The attack by the titans comes to a close by the end of the volume but not before some spectacular action sequences and surprises. We also dive into Mikasa’s background more which helps us understand her better, in particular, how she always remain fairly cooled. The ending was a massive surprise but the mysteries keep continuing to be piled up which can get frustrating as no answers are provided yet.
